Setup review checklist

Set up the AI receptionist, then prove the complete call path

New activation, booking writes, and automated customer texts are paused during production verification. You can still review what Ava should know and save a setup for a later reviewed activation.

  1. 1

    Review the imported business facts

Confirm the business name, services, hours, location or service radius, and exclusions. Remove anything scraped from the website that is stale or ambiguous.

  2. 2

Add answers the receptionist may use

Review imported Q&A and add factual answers for common caller questions. Keep prices, availability, and policies out unless the answer is current and approved.

  3. 3

Review time capture, transfer, and account delivery

Calendar booking writes and booking-link texts are paused. Review how Ava captures a preferred time, set the daytime transfer number and optional active-hazard after-hours number, and use the secure dashboard plus account-email fallback for actionable calls.

  4. 4

    Plan adversarial test calls

Plan a normal lead, a correction, an unsupported service, an urgent safety situation, Spanish, a transfer request, and an appointment for the separately reviewed activation.

  5. 5

    Document the future line-verification path

Automatic forwarding probes and new activation are paused. Review current carrier or VoIP instructions, plan an outside-phone call for later activation, and document how to turn forwarding off.
