Nevermiss is a 24/7 AI receptionist and answering service for US service businesses: the plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, roofers, cleaners, and locksmiths whose phones ring while their hands are full. Ava, the Nevermiss receptionist, answers in your business name, qualifies the caller, captures the job, and texts you the details before the caller hangs up.
The premise
Service businesses do not lose jobs because their work is bad. They lose jobs because the call came in from under a sink, from a rooftop, or at 2 AM, and the caller dialed the next company instead of leaving a voicemail. The fix used to require hiring a person or paying a call center by the call. AI made a third option possible, and we think it should be cheap enough for a one-truck business: plans start at $99 a month.
How we hold ourselves honest
- The demo line is always open. Anyone can talk to Ava in the browser or at (904) 740-3163 before creating an account. We sell the thing you can already hear.
- We test with graded calls. Ava is drilled with scripted and adversarial test calls (emergencies, digit readbacks, language switches, interruptions) and the recordings are graded before changes ship.
- No invented numbers. Our comparison pages cite competitors’ own published pricing with the date we verified it, and our calculators run on your inputs, not made up industry averages.
- Honest fit. Every industry page includes the cases where Nevermiss is not the right choice.
